Thoughts on wellness

As you can imagine, I'm not a fan of large institutions. In my struggles with depression, therapy, support centres, school, and other things, I've come to see people who've suffered - particularly those with mental health issues - in a whole new light. Formal institutions don't foster much compassion, and they generally don't acknowledge the inner knowing that one develops through hardship. Nurturing spiritual integrity is vital, yet this is actively discouraged by institutions.

We need NEW ways of organizing and interacting. It IS possible to be holistic, inclusive, productive, effective, and efficient, all at the same time.
